On 20.09.2018 the Commissioner, Food, Civil Supplies, and consumers affairs department lodged a complaint with ACB, Bengaluru city against KPMG Advisory Service Pvt. Ltd., Koramangala, Bengaluru. The Advisory service was appointed ted by Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs department as consultants for the tender process to supply and fix GPS machines to 3000 vehicles transporting food grains.
The Manager of KPMG, Mr. Raghava Jayashankar along with some bidders and mediators attempted to compromise the tenders floated by the department and tried to get the allotment of tenders to bidders who failed to meet the required technical qualification. They indulged in corrupt practices with the government servants.
A case has been registered against the following persons:
- KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd., Koramangala, Bengaluru
- Raghava Jayashankar, Manager (IGS Government Advisory), KMPG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd.
