Indigestion,lack of clarity/ brain fog, Tiredness, Migraines, IBS..Does it sound familiar?  Is your gut health blocking you from being a peak performer?    I was far from fine.There was a time in my life when I faced severe digestive issues due to food sensitivities. Apart from the above symptoms, I had severe migraines,depression and anxiety.Several Doctor visits,tests, scans and medicines only emptied my pocket. I was misdiagnosed! I was put on to Anti depressants and other medications for several years. There were a lot of side effects involved with them and my health started deteriorating and progressively became worse. Years passed, I got more disheartened.   
Unable to find answers from doctors, I went bio hacking to look into my biochemistry. I was determined to fix the underlying issues. I knew there was a different way to achieve my goals to become healthy.To get to the root cause and fix the issue, I explored further into acquiring more knowledge and found fascinating information driven by science and research. It has had great impact on my lifestyle.
What we often fail to recognize is that our environment has changed but our thinking hasn’t. Genetically modified grains due to modern agriculture is the culprit behind increase in these epidemics!  The single most important thing we can do is caring for our gut.There are some kinds of food that trigger responses for most people.
I was absolutely astonished to discover that cutting out gluten and Dairy from my diet magically erased all my symptoms with in few days!
One of the most widely used whole grain is wheat which has many different components to it. Proteins, Carbohydrates and fats.Gluten is a protein complex found in Wheat, barley,rye and triticale.Most of the people who suffer from Gluten sensitivity are not aware and are often undiagnosed.
 Gluten has a huge impact on our auto-immune system. It causes the immune reaction which affects the brain,causing Brain fog, mood swings,inflammation in the cells, Leaky gut hence increases the risk ofanemia, acne outbreaks, diabetes,obesity,thyroid dysfunction and several health issues…There is also a component of wheat called FODMAP’s a collection of short-chain carbohydrates found in many common foods that causes the gut problems.
Since my gut could not tolerate Gluten, completely eliminating it from my diet,also reducing nutrient poor and calorie rich foods and changing the lifestyle was the key for my happy tummy. Being patient, it took at least six months of complete transition off that crap that produces notorious fat in the mid section and creates health issues.
For those who are facing similar issues,track the body responses to food for a week. Become creative, there are still various food products to choose from.

l Replace all white rice, white flour, Sugar, etc to Brown’s.
l Cut back on artificial sweeteners, MSG’s, colors, preservatives etc..Eat healthy home cooked meal.
l Going gluten and dairy free is a great way to reduce inflammation and keep several health issues at bay.
l Eating Wholesome, natural, Gmo free, nutritious and organic foods gives you better health and energy.
l Eat foods to nourish your body not for emotional comfort. Eat what makes you feel amazing and fuels you to be the Best version of yourself.

Self-care is an Art of loving yourself! Who doesn’t want to be healthy and fit and be the best version of themselves? Most of us at some point have dreamed of looking like our favorite celebrities. In the peak of motivation, we have also tried out all that we possibly could to reach a certain level to look our best.
As our lives gets filled with twisting work, family and relationships, we convince ourselves that we have no time for our primary needs. For some it could be true, however, most of us get caught-up in excuse mode. To look for easier options, people get trapped in fast food and compromise their health. Eventually, it takes a toll on health and is also the basic cause of obesity in the world.  
The way we start the day determines the way we live our day.It is important to battle-proof our health and is never too late to switch to eat healthy food and maintain healthy weight. Through this,the body gets the required nutrients and helps in optimizing our performance.Though it looks like a constant battle and might not have the luxury of spending hours in the kitchen or hitting the gym,we can still find that balance and feel fit and healthy if we are going to make a commitment and break out of the monotony.
Here are few healthy hacks for busy people for greater satisfaction and fulfilling life:
l Make use of weekends: On a downtime day, organize everything for the week ahead. Maintaining a food and fitness ledger helps us to keep a track on our daily rituals.
l Keep the phone away at-least an hour before going to sleep. Scrolling through social media pages early hours of the day hypnotizes us to believe that we are busy.
l Have a morning protocol: Make it a priority to workout in the morning without distractions…it helps us feel refreshing and gives energy through out the day. It releases Dopamine and serotonin, feel good hormones which keeps our enthusiasm high. Having a workout buddy who is motivating encourages us to be disciplined.   
l Shop weekly: Make time to shop for healthy and nutritious food , store organic and natural fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator and meal prep for five days if you are a too busy person.
l Engage in physical activities: Apart from daily workout, keep yourself active throughout the day to stay away from sedentary lifestyle which is also the key to burn extra calories.
l Replace all white food like Rice, Sugar, White flour with Fruits, vegetables and Protein which keeps your body hydrated and gives energy.Swap Coffee and tea with herbal teas.
l At certain point, when it is hard to find out the root cause of deficiencies, do consider a Health care professional and a fitness expert who can help us to plan a healthy diet and follow a fitness regime so that it’s tailored for your needs.
l Listening to Pod-casts or any kind of audio learning’s during the traveling time will help us save time and enhance our skills.
