Sapna Book House is a book store chain and a publisher of books. It is one of the biggest book shops in India.

The Limca Book of Records recognized this book house as the largest book shop in India, for seven years in a row.  The State Government of Karnataka presented the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award to Sapna Book House, describing it as the largest Kannada book publisher in 2008. 

As of May 2016, they have published more than 5000 books by 500 writers, including Jnanpith and Central Sahitya Academy awardees.

Around 60% of the store includes books and the rest of stationery, multimedia products, and sports items etc.It has its export of over 5,000 books in kannada language, to the Kannadigas settled in Brazil.  Its online business has eight million users.

Sapna Book House – History :

Sapna Book House was started by Suresh Shah, on 26 January 1967 near majestic, Bengaluru on a rent-based store.  Later as an independent mall in Gandhinagar, Benglauru, initially selling Lilliput dictionaries.

Born in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, Suresh Shah’s ancestors belonged to Dhoraji, Gujarat. Suresh Shah previously worked as head of Mumbai-based Pocket Book Distributing Company’s new branch in Chennai.

Sapna Book House 52nd anniversary :

The book house is celebrating its 52nd anniversary.  During this time the customers will be given a discount ranging from 10% to 52% in all the branches.  The discount is on selected titles. 

The Sapna Book house on this occasion has introduced a loyalty rewards scheme.  This scheme is applicable for those who purchase books for more than Rs.500/- .

Other offers at the book house :

Along with the discount the customers will get bonus points credited to their account at the book stall.  Every purchase of Rs.500/- will get a total of 50 points to their loyalty account.

The customers can redeem the points accumulated in their next purchase.  By registering their mobile number the customers can enroll for this offer.  Customers can also avail an EMI facility to purchase books.
