Bengaluru North Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in the Karnataka. This constituency has been known by different names in its history.
From 1951 and every election since 1977 it has been known as Bangalore North. For the 1957 and 1962 elections it was known as Bangalore City. For the 1967 and 1971 elections it formed a constituency jointly with Bengaluru South and was known as Bengaluru.
From 1951–73, this constituency resided in Mysuru State. On 1 November 1973 Mysore State was renamed as Karnataka. Bengaluru North held its first elections in 1951 and its first member of parliament (MP) was Keshava Iyengar of the Indian National Congress.

Sadananda Gowda :
Devaragunda Venkappa Sadananda Gowda (born 18 March 1953) was the 20thcChief Minister of Karnataka and is currently the Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation in the Government of India. He previously served as Minister of Law and Justice shifted from the Ministry of Railways in the cabinet reshuffle of 5 July 2016.
He is a sitting MP from Bengaluru North.

Krishna Byre Gowda :
Krishna Byre Gowda (born 4 April 1973) was born in Bengaluru to C. Byre Gowda and Savithramma.
He is the current Minister of Rural Development, Law and Parliamentary Affairs in the cabinet of Coalition government and Member of Legislative Assembly of the Byatarayanapura Constituency, in office since June 2008.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Christ College, now known as Christ University in Bengaluru 1994. He then graduated with a master’s degree (M.A) from the School of International Service at American University Washington D.C.in 1999.
Political career :
He has served three times as an M.L.A. of Karnataka state, twice from Vemegal in Kolar district from 2003 to 2007, and from 2008 to 2013 from the Byatarayanapura Constituency in Bengaluru.
Krishna has served as the President of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress between 2007 and 2011, and is currently holds the office of General Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, since 2012.
Bengaluru South :
Bengaluru South Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 28 Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) constituencies in Karnataka State. Currently the seat is vacant since 12 November 2018 due to the untimely passing away of MP Ananth Kumar.

B.K.Hari Prasad :
Hariprasad born 29 July 1954) was born in Benaluru, Karnataka, to A. Kempaiah and K. Gunavathi.
B.K. Hariprasad is a politician from the INC party. He is a Member of Parliament representing Karnataka in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house, of the Indian Paliament. He was the candidate of United Opposition for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and lost to Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh of NDA.

Vatal Nagaraj :
He is a political figure named after the town he was born in,. He is the Ex MLA of Chamarajnagar constituency. Nagaraj is the president of a pro-Kannada outfit Kannada Chalavali Paksha.
In 1964 he led a two-month agitation demanding the destruction of a 150-year-old British Raj era cenotaph pillar marking the deaths of soldiers at the Siege of Siege of Bangalore in 1791. In October of that year the cenotaph was dismantled by the Bangalore City Corporation and a statue to Kempe Gowda now stands in its place. In 2018 he started a new agitation in January 25 for water sharing from MAHADAYI river flowing from Goa. Some political critiques question the authenticity of Vatal’s fight against Goa State for water sharing when he himself fight against Tamil Nadu government for Supreme court order to release water in Cauvery river.
Bengaluru Central :
Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka. This constituency was created in 2008 as part of delimitation It was carved out of the Bengaluru North and South Lok Sabha constituencies during 2009 Indian elections. It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) was P.C.Mohan.

He won the election with the halfway margin for the first time as the President of KPYCC and again He won the consecutive time by a very huge margin.
He got ticket to contest for Lok Sabha elections from Bengaluru central constituency from INC. However he lost to BJP candidate PC Mohan.

Prakash Raj was born in Bengaluru (then known as Mysuru state) on 26 March 1965 in a lower-middle-class family.
Prakash Raj (born Prakash Rai; 26 March 1965) is a multilingual film actor, film director, producer, thespian and television presenter who is known for his works in the South Indian Film Industry and Hindi films. He acted in back-to-back stage shows for Rs.300 a month in the initial stages of his career, when he joined Kalakshetra, Bengaluru and he has 2,000 street theatre performances to his credit.

Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 28 Lok Sabha (lower house of the Indian parliament) constituencies in Karnataka. This constituency was created in 2008 following the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. It comprises eight assembly segments of which seven are derived from the former Kanakapura Lok Sabha Constituency (abolished in 2008). It first held elections in 2009 and its first member of parliament (MP) was H.D.Kumaraswamy of the Janata Dal (Secular) party. Kumaraswamy resigned his seat in 2013. The by-election that followed was won by D.K.Suresh of the Indian National congress (INC).
