Aishwarya Pissay – First Indian woman to participate in Bajaj Aragon cross-country motorbike rally.

TVS Racing Factory rider Aishwarya Pissay will become the first Indian woman to participate in the Bajaj World Rally as she makes her international rally debut.  She is 5 ft, 9 inches and slender.  She exudes a confidence and passion when she talks about the sport.
The Bajaj rally is scheduled between July 20-22, 2018, in Teruel, Spain, marks the internal rally in the sport.  The 22 year old racer will be joining a four member squad from France, as well as from Spain.
Aishwarya Pissay has been participating in a number of Indian rally championships and has tuned her skills with every rally and has clinched a place for herself.
Aishwarya Pissay began riding at the age of 18, first taking trips with friends.  At that time she was not good in the academics, and took a break for an year.   After completing her commerce degree through correspondence from Bangalore University, she continued with the passion of her life,  riding.  After enrolling for a formal training, she started riding in competitions in 2016, and has been supported by TVS Co. from last year.  She participates both in circuit races and off-roading raids.  For her whether it is circuit or off-roading, it is raiding at the end of the day.
Aishwarya Pissay has won 4 championships in the last years.  She has seen ups and downs in her path to success.  She is good in breaking barriers at every step to achieve what she aims for.   The young achiever believes that a lot more is to be done for the cause of women in motorsport.
