Dutee Chand (born 3 February 1996) is an Indian professional sprinter and current national champion in the women’s 100 meters event. She is the third Indian woman to ever qualify for the Women’s 100 meters event at the Summer Olympic Games.
The 22-year-old clinched a silver medal each in the women’s 100 mts. And 200 pts. In her first Asian Games as she was not allowed to participate in 2014 while serving a ban under the hyperandrogenism policy of the IAAF.
She joined her illustrious compatriots such as P.T.Usha in the list of athletes who have won more than one medal at Asian Games.
