INDIAN MEN’S BRIDGE TEAM GETS BRONZE MEDAL AT ASIAN GAMES

India settled for a bronze medal from the debut sport of bridge in the Asian Games after the men teams lost their semifinal match. The men’s team of Jaggy Shivdasani, Rajeshwar Tewari, Sumit Mukherjee, Debabrata Majumder, Raju Tolani, and Ajay Khare fell against Singapore in the semi-finals. After the qualification rounds, the men’s bridge team was placed fourth.   The men’s team has an average age of 52 while the mixed team has 57.

The men’s team lost to Singapore. The sport of Bridge has been introduced for the first time at the Asian Games.   Congratulations to this young team for their achievement.
